So I applied for a residency in New York. It feels like a long shot but I was gonna be really upset if I didn't try it. It offered a rent-free year in a one bedroom apartment in NYC. I've always wanted to live there but never had a chance because of money. Here's my best opportunity. Let's hope it goes somewhere.

Both Izzy and Evey have been to New York. Izzy has family there on both sides of her family. Evey visited when their mom went on a book tour. Izzy loves the place and has many good memories associated with it. Evey has a much more neutral opinion and could take or leave their experience there.
