Izzy tries her best even when she faces something that terrifies her. Like that time she faced down that nanobot swarm on Leticobke. It was mere seconds away from becoming a grey goo scenario and eating the entire planetoid and everything on it. But she stood strong.

She's having a harder time here because it's a much deeper fear. And she technically has no control over it and no way to make things go away. All she can do is work faster. Maybe.
