Izzy was glad she made such a great new friend almost immediately during her freshman year. But she didn't want her new friend to worry about her too much. She didn't want that to be the tone of their friendship. It started way before high school too. She did the same thing with her friends in elementary school. She even hid problems from her family.  It hasn't helped her as much as she thought it would.
